What is the best part of being in this band?
The best part of being in The Ride is living out our dreams with our absolute best friends. Being able to express ourselves freely through music and having support from the people closest to us.
What is the most challenging part of being in a band?
The most challenging part of being in a band is overcoming the letdowns you experience. It seems that if you are in a band there are 100 people who want to take every penny from you and give you nothing in return. They say how much they love your band and this great opportunity coming your way, but they are really just scam artists. TIP! If you're in a band, and someone says they like you and they want you apart of ________, but you need to pay money. It's a scam, don't do it!
If you could write and perform a song with one artist, who would you choose? Why?
Lady Gaga! She actually is a great artist. She writes all her own material and have you ever seen her play piano? She is incredible. The Madonna of our age. To write a song with her would be quite an experience; along with the elaborate live performances she puts on. We'd be down for that.
What would you be doing if you weren't making music?
If we weren't playing music we would all be lost. It's integrated so far into who we are as people and how we are all friends. If we had never started the band I think we'd all be regular college students.
